The Challenge

Symmetry is a UK-based M&A advisory firm. When they came to us, they were working with a lead agency that was delivering decent results on the surface. The problem was underneath. It was a recurring cost regardless of output, lead volume was declining, and the whole program was a black box. Symmetry didn’t own the data, the infrastructure, or the messaging. If the agency went away, so did the pipeline.

They wanted to bring it in-house and own the engine end-to-end.

What We Built

  • Cold email infrastructure configured to land reliably at scale (domains, warmup, deliverability monitoring)
  • Apollo.io instance built from scratch, with custom account scoring models tuned to the signals that matter in M&A (founder-led companies, revenue ranges, growth indicators, exit readiness)
  • Personas covering business owners, founders, and financial decision-makers
  • Website visitor ID connected directly into outreach so site traffic triggered sequences
  • Highly personalized messaging using their existing customer references. Past deals and testimonials in specific industries mapped to prospects in those same industries, so every email led with relevant proof
  • Dynamic variables and Spintax for variation at scale without losing the personal feel
  • Full documentation and training so Symmetry could own and operate the system themselves

Results

  • 7-figure pipeline built from outbound
  • Meetings progressing to deal stages with mid-7-figure and larger acquisition targets (typical for M&A deal sizes and long sales cycles)
